Had tickets to a show at the ambassador theater. This bar-restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel, the hard rock, and on the way to the theater. We had the charcuterie board and the meatballs. Both were fabulous. The bartender was friendly and informative. This ownership group has 12 different locations around the city. He gave us a card with the addresses to all of them. We also visited the speakeasy, Polly’s, in the basement of this establishment. Very fun evening!
Classic bar. Great for a post-work drink. Their cocktail in a teapot is fun, well-priced, and delicious. The tequila one is yummy and quite sweet. Each teapot serves around 4 teacups (they give you two cups) and costs 30. I liked their playlist.
We had a great experience, I ordered the Italian sausage flatbread and it was delicious. Our waitress was very nice! The atmosphere was great and we had a good time overall. This is a place we would go back to!
The food and drinks were superb! Amazing taste. The ambiance had a modern meets classical vibe that I found intimate and romantic. The service was welcoming and helpful, and our waitress was attentive and had recommendations when asked. I really enjoyed our experience and I would definitely return. I think you should check them out!
Vibes were immaculate and the food was very hearty and filling. We went during brunch hours and ordered the skillet, hot chicken & waffles, and the huevos rancheros. The hot chicken and waffles were solid but the hot chicken could’ve used more spice and flavoring. The waffle and sweet potato butter was really delicious though. Truffle fries were also a great side to order.
Reserved a table for my friend and I! Not too far from Grand central. Such a cute spot. Calm atmosphere. Food was quick and we came in time just for brunch! Definitely recommend if you want a chill little spot to eat at.
The chicken and waffles are amazingly delicious!! The bottomless brunch tea is soooo worth it. Must have for brunch!!
I have been here three separate times and I have a great time each time. I suggest going before 6pm to beat the rush and get a table. I have also gone after 10pm and found it extremely pleasant. Definitely get the Teapot cocktail and the chicken and waffles. The absolute best items on the menu! I have gone for dinner before and after a show as well as just drinks for the evening. The staff and management are fantastic! When an issue occurs they ensure the customer is taken care of and or compensated without question. Definitely recommend and my go to when I'm attending a show at the New York City Center.
